One of the things I was looking forward to the most when coming to Hawaii was seeing a turtle. Turtle Beach definitely lived up to its name. We were so blessed to be able to see this beautiful turtle in its natural habitat. This was truly an amazing experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.
This particular turtle is a female by the name of Mana which means spiritual power. She approximately weighs 230lbs! I have seen small turtles before, but never one the size of Mana. We saw many smaller turtles in the water as well. Keep in mind turtles are protected by state law in Hawaii so it’s illegal to touch or handle them.
Turtle beach is not a swimming beach due to the rocks that line the shore and bottom of the ocean. We did see some people in the water, so if you must get in like we did make sure you have water shoes so you don’t cut your feet. The current can be very strong so if you are watching the turtles don’t stand too close to the shore because a wave came by and knocked me right out.
My swimsuit is from asos. I am wearing a size 4 in the top and 2 in the bottom. The top has this really cute band that goes across the bottom of it. I have never seen a swimsuit like this, I think it’s so unique. I love the pops of color in it especially the neon orange. If you guys are interested I will have the exact link for the swimsuit posted below. Thanks for reading 🙂
