Its been almost a week since I’ve been back from my trip to Miami. I feel that anytime I go on a trip the time flies by. This was the first trip my mom and I took together. It was so nice to get away from work and stress even if it was just for a week. I must say my mother is a saint for taking all those pictures of me. We both love the beach so we decided the first day we arrived we would check out South Beach. I fell in love with the lifeguard stands there. Each stand was comprised of different neon colors, and they made the perfect backdrop for pictures.
The first thing that I noticed about Miami is that it’s near impossible to find parking, and on top of that you have to pay to park everywhere. We probably drove around for a good hour before we found a parking spot. The beach was very busy which I was expecting, but I loved the energy it gave off. Miami is definitely a very lively place to be. There is so much to see and do. One thing I didn’t like about the beach was that there was a lot of seaweed that washed up ashore. However, once you actually got a few feet out into the ocean it was clean. I think going to South Beach at least once is a must while in Miami.
My swimsuit is from last summer, and it’s from Asos. If you guys follow me on Instagram you know I buy all my swimsuits from there. I think their suits are reasonably priced, and made with good quality materials. I used to avoid wearing yellow because I thought that I couldn’t pull a color like that off. Now it’s one of my favorite colors to wear. What I love about this swimsuit is that it’s off the shoulders, and it has a beautiful floral print to it. I always worry about off the shoulder things staying in place, but I had absolutely no issues with this suit. I will link a few very similar swimsuits for you guys below.
I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July this past Wednesday. Thank you all for reading. There is much more to come from my Miami trip so stay tuned!
